Welcome to my website, I am so glad you are here. I want this site to be a place where you can find hope, voice an opinion and believe that God still cares. As my series, A Higher Call, and the first book, Collision of Angels, delves into from a political perspective, there is much happening in our world and our trust and faith are being shaken at their very core.

As you will see in this first book and those to follow, I am concerned about where God stands in our society. The original documents and founding principles we all enjoy and live by are being tested, questioned and even replaced by the greater collected wisdom of the one or the few. In the beginning of our country’s history, we were many and we became one. This was the inspiration for the original motto on our country’s seal: E Pluribus Unum: Out of many, one. It meant one united country, not the individual. Lately, outside of terrorist attacks or Olympics we rarely see ourselves as one united country. Certainly the God that was so prevalent in the lives of those who brought this nation into being has taken a back seat. It appears that now anyone’s view of what is right or moral seems to be just fine. The boundary lines for right and wrong have been blurred. The further we get from our true father and his guiding word, the easier it is to lower the bar on our integrity, responsibility and even our patriotism. We are a nation of consumers and debtors and the values of our parents’ and grandparents’ generation seem to be disappearing. We owe, rather than own. We whine too much and blame too often. We hold out our hand to receive instead of reaching down to pick someone up. We expect the government to take care of us rather than taking care of ourselves. And still, are we not rich by the world’s standards? Isn’t the USA where people come, from around the world, to educate themselves, work hard and live out the “American dream”?

These are tough times and my prayer is this series and others to follow will capture back the heart of a nation who is fervently seeking, but doesn’t know what or why. God already has a "bail out" plan and graciously, he still calls us to him. He reminds us that if we are responsible here, in this brief time on earth, then he will keep his word as he always has, and our reward will be great in heaven. Our job is to listen, serve, help those in need, honor his commands and love like Jesus did. Only in these acts are we capable of finding the peace we are seeking. I pray for joy and grace in your life’s journey.
